Krogering 2-7

Okay, so it's been a while since I posted one of my couponing trips. I surprised myself by coming out of the store tonight with 34 items for $38, especially when two of the four *non-participating items were milk. Here's the breakdown, after coupons and Mega event deductions (-30 cents per item when bought in multiples of ten, mix and match):

*2 gallons milk at $2.88 ea
2 Purex detergent, 32 loads at $1.49 ea
1 Reynolds aluminum foil, 80 ft at $1.69
1 tub Country Crock, 45 oz at $.89
2 Betty Crocker fruit snacks at $.94 ea
2 Betty Crocker fruit snacks at $.90 ea
1 tub Country Time lemonade at $1.99
3 boxes Banquet breakfast sausage at $.33 ea
*1 bottle John Freida detangler at $1.99
*1 Lady's speedstick at $1.00
3 large jars Ragu sauce at $1.07 ea
3 bottles Kraft BBQ sauce at $.69 ea
2 boxes Capri Sun lemonade at $1.49 ea
10 cans Campbell's chunky soup at $.79 ea

I earned back my purchase of newspapers today with the soup, alone!

Sounds like a great trip! I wish I had a Kroger closer to me, their deals have been so good lately!
