local library

We're anxiously awaiting the grand re-opening of our local branch library, which is undergoing renovations and is scheduled to be in use again this summer. It's right around the corner from the closest grocery store, but not along my usual travels. The kids get to see it every other week on our way to scout meetings, and they pop up in the back seat and crane their necks to see how much it has progressed.
I wish my camera weren't jam-packed with photos. I may take the time, around mid-terms and cookie-momming, to clear it out and snap some photos. They've put the siding up, which looks spectacular, and I noticed tonight on the way to the store that they've finished a lot of the sheetrock. If I were a faithful and diligent blogger, I would have chronicled the entire process. As it is, you'll just have to trust me until I can get some photos: the library over here is looking great.

Yay I can't wait! I've missed having that library. I tried going to the main library but since it's way out of my way I kept ending up with overdue books, so I had to quit. I owe them $8 ... I guess I'll have to pay up this summer!
