Edy's ice cream

Okay: here's your chance to replicate!

In today's Parade magazine (N&O, locally), there is a coupon for $1/2 Edy's ice cream. If you get two papers, and head over to Food Lion, you can get the same deal I did yesterday. Just because you buy them at once doesn't mean you have to eat them at once, and I'm pretty sure this includes the low-sugar variety. This sale runs through the close of business Tuesday.

Here's their pricing structure:

Edy’s Ice Cream, 48 oz., Buy More Save More
Buy 1 at $4.29
Buy 2 at $3.99 ea
Buy 3 at $3.49 ea
Buy 4 $2.99 ea
Buy 5 $1.99 ea

If you buy five at $1.99 and use two $1/2 coupons, you'll get them for $7.95 plus tax, or $1.59 each. Not bad, considering the absolute best price I've seen in recent months is $2/5 on sale.
I took the last four copies of the N&O from our nearest Food Lion, but other places that sell them in-store are Kroger, CVS, and the gas station at the corner of Dixon and University. CVS usually sells out early in the morning, though. Good luck!
